Dog Brain Tumor Symptoms

Brain tumors can occur in any age dog, even puppies, but are most common in dogs older than 5 years of age

if the dog is five years old or older, a brain tumor is the most likely reason for the onset of seizures.

Underlying Causes for Seizures
But we do not see this happen alot in the yorkie breed. Anything is possible but without a full neurological exam I would not discount any information. We can only post what we see as normal for the breed and brain tumors are not normal for this breed. If i saw it all the time then that would be different but honestly I do not think i have ever seen on any of the dog groups i am on a yorkie with a brain tumor.
