My thoughts exactly. Why are you waiting until January to leave this guy? You need to take care of yourself and Cobain and leave now. He may promise to change, but he's an addict. He won't unless he wants to. If he hid vials in once place, chances are they are somewhere else, too. You wouldn't want Cobain to find them and get in to them- it would be deadly.
