Question for anyone that has had this test ran or has knowledge about it. My little liver dog had high bile acids on a test about a year ago and we have managed it with diet, antibiotics and supplements since April of last year. In the last month she has had 2 seizures. So at this point we did the protein C test and I am a little confused about the results.

I am told that the normal range is 75 to 135%, her results were 93% and according to Cornell and my vet it indicates MVD. This is what we have been treating her for. Now they think she could have 2 separate issues, maybe a nero problem also, she has lost the ability for her right eye to dialate properly. We are going to re-test her bile acids next week.

What are others knowledge about the protein C test and any experiences with those that have had it ran.
