I'm wondering how old, on average, yorkies have to be before they are able to hold it all night and stay in their kennels?

I read somewhere that 10-12 weeks and they should be able to. Our little one is 7 months and still can not hold it all night all the time so I set up a play area for him and took the door off of his kennel so that he can come and go as he needs to.
