Maddox had the EXACT same thing happen a few weeks ago. It didn't seem to bother him at all. It was right next to the back of his top knot, but not part of it - I never did figure out what caused it. I put just a dab of neosporin on the tiny cut and kept a close eye on it. He was all healed within a couple of days. That was my experience - I think you should use your judgement about taking her to the vet.
