There are long term side effects to spaying and neutering that everyone should be aware of. It is a personal decision and not always an east one. I just feel that overall it is in the best interest of their health to keep a male intact. The following article explains all the pros and cons. For females I feel it is best to get them spayed when they get older, after their first heat.
