I'm not positive I fully understand what you are describing, but I do know that mine spends a lot of time sitting on her hiney or standing up on her hind legs just so she can see things better. Also, when she is running through grass that is a bit tall for her, she looks like a bunny hopping. Perhaps that is what you are describing?
