You may want to first take her to the vet and have her checked out thoroughly. Do you know of a good small animal vet in your area? He can explain the scar and check the chip for you. Follow the link Megansmomma left on her post and that info will help you also. Don't give up on her. As I said, there are lots of people here who have rescued yorkies and can give you tons of help.
