I just bought a 4 yr old female yorkie yesterday and when i picked her up the woman i bought her from owns a grooming shop, so the little dog was very scared and i know yorkies are timid, so i didn't think anything of it. I get her home put a leash on her to take her out to potty and the second she hit the ground the dog jet off. it took us forever to catch her, but we did thank goodness. Anyways she is beyond terrified of everything and when we take her out she attempts running. It's like she's wild. I finally got her to eat wet dog food today. She loves going in a crate (i'm assuming bc it's safe to her)
I don't know if i need to let her stay in the crate for a few days or if she needs to be socialized with alot. I can put her on the couch or chair and she lays there forever and never moves, but you put her on the ground in the house and she's gone. Please help!!
