Well he looks awful cute to me!! Congrats! He reminds me a lot of my Mindy who is 10 pounds, they look a lot alike in the face. I doubt Mindy is purebred but it doesn't matter. We took Mindy in as a "rescue", re-homed her 2 times and neither worked out so now she is here to stay.
She has issues that me and hubby seem to be the only ones that can deal with..LOL.. So I continue to still work with her but she needs prozac or something, she is a little OCD
