To OP: Don't forget to use a good brush too! Any old brush won't do! I use the Madan brush from Mimimomo and also she has top knot gel, rat tail comb, and don't forget the band scissors. They are itty bitty scissors with a special curved blade so you can pull a bit of the rubber band out away from the hair and cut it, then unravel the band from the hair, so you don't cut any hair by accident.
