How old is your baby? I only do Uni's topknot for special occasions bc she doesn't have a lot of hair. for everyday I just use mini barrettes. You have to train them to hold still. Brush her several times a day, and teach the stay or freeze command. If you keep doing it all the time, they will just accept it is a part of yorkie life.  |
Well said (though I won't admit it on the banning thread
) Yeah, mine hated me messing with her hair at first, but she eventually gave in. She'll run from me when she sees the brush in my hand, but once I have her she puts up with it.
Also, when you brush, groomers recommend using some kind of conditioning spray and never to brush dry.
