Thats like saying all redheaded people are cripples because of the color of their hair.
Color does not make a Yorkshire Terrier, color should be the least of the worries when it comes to showing or breeding |
but with yorkies and the standard, color does matter in the show ring. If it's not suppose to be there then it's not suppose to be there. It's simple, it's black and white. If I had a nice pretty black and tan yorkie I still wouldn't take it to the show ring because it's NOT correct and that is color, it's a pet and would be placed in a pet home and if I ever had a parti yorkie in my litter it would be placed in a pet home and the dam and sire be spayed and neutered and I would start completely over because it's not what the standard calls for can't get more plain than that

It's called conforming to the standard and upholding what the standard calls for.
