She could also have seasonal allergies; they can be very bad at this time of year. Face rubbing is a sign.
Sometimes Ringo's (my Westie) gets so bad that he has to be on steroids - usually once in the spring and again in the fall.
We manage them on a bad day by giving him an OTC Zyrtec. He takes a whole one per his vet, for his size but a yorkie probably would not.
We also watch his diet because he has skin allergies as well.
I'm sure your vet can give you some suggestions.
