I disagree with many of you who say YTCA is posted all over the place here; I had to read boatload of threads before I ever read of the YTCA. I'll admit I had no real knowledge of specific breeds or breed clubs when I came to Yorkietalk, and maybe the average person who's always gotten purebreds knows more about breed clubs, but I try to share information that I was grateful to learn. I felt very guilty about buying any purebred, because I'm very aware of the problems some of the breeds are having. However, when I learned that there are breeders who are breeding for what I consider the right reasons and that's protecting, preserving, and improving the breed, then I could get a purebred without my conscience bothering me. Not everyone feels like I do about this, but for those who do, having the YTCA link is extremely valuable. I just want to thank those of you who did tell me about the YTCA, I'm extremely grateful. |
