[Roxiesmama]

I posted this on the training board...but it didn't seem too active over there, so I figured I would try here.

We repainted the front door yesterday and bought a kickplate to put over the bottom of the door. Now we want to try to train Roxie to jingle some bells to go out instead of scratching the crap out of the front door and the surrounding moldings.

I bought some jingly bells and tied them to a ribbon. I know not to hang them directly on the door knob, but next to the door. I don't really know how to start training her, though. Right now I have a baby gate up so she doesn't go scratch at the door, but it's a real pain, as it's blocking the front hallway. Anyone know how I can get started? Any help appreciated!
