Question new member

My name is Lorraine. I got my first Yorkie about 5 weeks ago. I had always wanted one but never was sure how to handle the long hair and shedding. Only recently did I find out that they really DON'T shed. That's all I needed. I began my search and found a precious little female that I have named Sophia and call Sophie. I liked her the first day I got her and after a week, I was hopelessly in love with her. I have a lot of questions that I am sure some of you experienced owners can answer. I would like to begin with this one. Her sire is a 3 pounder and her dam is a 7 pounder. My first trip to the Vet for check-up and shots was at 8 weeks and she weighed 2 pounds. The second trip (at 12 weeks) she weighed 3.1 pounds. At approximately what age do they reach maturity as far as growth goes and is there any way now to know what she will weigh as an adult dog? I appreciate anyone that can answer this question for me. Thank you. I will talk again later.
