Your baby is very young and too young to be away from it's mother, so you will need to watch him closely for a while. I would take him to a vet and make sure he's okay for now. He's still young and has to be kept away from other dogs and parks untill he's had all of his puppy shots and that will take a while. Make sure he's eating and drinking. Young Yorkies are subject to low blood sugar. Get him neutered and you should not have marking problems. I'd do this as soon as the vet says he's ready.
What did you name him? |
Thank you all for the great info. I am keeping away from my other dogs, they smell each through the gate in the kitchen. His first vet visit is this Friday for shots and worming, I also plan on having him neutered as soon as I can. I will post pictures as soon as I get them to my computer.
So far he is doing good on going out to potty, I also have pee pad down just incase but so far he has done everything outside. He sleeps in a crate at night to help with the potty training.
Oh one more thing, he has a tail. I thought Yorkies had the tails docked.
Thanks again!
