She might not be ready. Most of my girls I don't even try until 12 days. I would suggest using a little Kyjelly on her. Some of my girls do not have alot of discharge and they seem dry. They think they want it but it doesn't feel good after they get it. |
I agree. I have a female that does all the flirting, the flagging and even throws her bum in the male's face until he mounts. But once the male comes close to hitting home..she screams like she is being tortured. With that said...once the tie is accomplished..she settles and is fine. She is my best eater, keeps her weight up, natural whelper, and is super Mom.
Let me add...she is a very spoiled momma's girl...and sometimes this can have an effect on how some females react to natural experiences with other dogs such as mating's.
Just because a female may have a quirky behavior during breeding doesn't mean something is wrong with her or her temperament. The soft muzzle and AI are great suggestions.
