He and his littermates had a bad intestinal virus at 10 weeks. He spent some time being very sick. He even had the radiological test at Univ of Tennessee for liver shunt. He does not have one, which is really nice to know. With this breed as with the Yorkie, nothing is ever 100%. He hasn't been sick since about 14 week of age or so (he's now 9 mths) but the illness and they claim some of the meds he took blew out his coat. He was a scragly thing when he first came home. Now look at him! Here is a before and an after!
And his hair has even grown more since this picture!
