Anyway, thanks to you and I love it and so does she. She seemed to have a spring in her step yesterday, but is down for the count today due to the belly. The groomer was warning me we'd see more nipples with this cut, told her that didn't bother us. I'm lovin the belly, she's 48 days today and counting. Thanks again for the encouragement! |
Thanks to jacquelinebabco for posting the thread, and a big thanks to Yorkiepuppie who encouraged me to cut his hair. I had seen the cut on some of Joey's breeder's other dogs, and I loved it on them, but I hated the idea of giving up Joey's long hair. It really was great hair and never tangled, but Joey had been playing with another dog weekly who constantly playfully pawed Joey's back and the hair length seemed to be getting shorter and shorter, plus he looked a mess after playing. Yorkiepuppie (Yen) was able to talk me into it and gave me the old advice of "After all, it's just hair, it will grow back!"
This cut should be much easier for the pregnancy and nursing, and I wish you healthy happy puppies!
