she never did this the first 2 years of life and then shortly after turning 2 this started up. I spoke with a vet behaviorist and she asked how old she was and when it started. When i told her it started shortly after turning 2 she said that was a very common age for these things to happen. i do not remember why or if she told me why though. |
thanks for posting this as the same thing happened to Dex as he freaks out when the smoke detector goes off and my girls could care less. I thought it was bc when he was in the hospital for pancreatitis there was a dog below him on a heart monitor 24/7 and it sounded like the smoke detector beep. So maybe it was due to his age as he was 2 instead of the hospital stay
