I think I'll leave well enough alone. If it ever appears that he's dragging his bum, then, I'll bring him up to the vet. Seems to me that it makes sense that it's something they normally do on their own. And if it's a matter that having it done can lead to them not doing it on their own, I certainly wouldn't want to encourage that.
