Welcome to YT!! Your Gidget will be fine. Pixie was done at 4 months old and was about 2 1/2 pounds. She never licked the stitches and was pretty quiet the next day. Never used any kind of collar to keep her from licking. My vet said that it would hurt her to lick them, as a matter of fact it helps in the healing. However, I did stay home the next day to watch her to make sure she doesn't jump. Good Luck and I know Gidget will be find. We'll keep her in our prayers.
