Tucker (a year and 7 months) had one. His was pretty large and would cause him some issues (gas bubbles would get stuck and made it protrude) and made him uncomfortable for a little while. I would rub it and slowly push his intestines back in he would feel better. We had his fixed at 4.5 months old (neutered at the same time) because it wasnt closing on its own and the vet was afraid it would continue to cause issues. He recoverd fine, wouldnt of even know he had one.
