Wow! That's a tough one. My cat is only 2 years old so she loves to play with my yorkies and she was laready used to dogs since I had two when I brought her home.
I also had a 16 year old cat but she passed away a year ago. When I brought a kitten in, she stayed outside more to avoid it, but she and the dogs just had an understanding and stayed away from each other.
