I think it's always hard at first, but once they realize the carrier and the carseat mean going "bye-bye" they can't wait to jump in!! Does yours like to go for a ride?
I actually leave the carrier out by my desk and he will sleep in it. It is his little home away from home. He will also dig for treats and toys left in there.
