I got a puppy from Ruthie Freeman in Big Sandy and her vet raved about her and her puppies. I love the little girl she sent me and she is very clean and healthy, but she wasn't cheap. Even if she doesn't have a dog in your price range she could probably refer you to a breeder she trusts. Email me if you would like contact info.
Texas has a lot of "puppymills" which you want to steer clear of so be sure to educate yourself on what to look for in a good breeder. There's a lot of advice on that subject on this forum as well as most yorkie websties.
