I agree... I have my vet do it. It is fairly inexpensive (at least mine is.)
Just had an incident last Monday with one of mine. I thought she had ingested something that we didn't see and was having an extremely hard time passing it! She was almost howling as it was stuck half in/out. It was HORRIBLE!! We rushed her to the vet (thank goodness it was Monday and not over the weekend) and it ended up being that her glands needed to be expressed. I was so relieved! Our current pace is about once/twice a year and that's it. This one had been about a year and the other was "scooting" and that's how we knew she needed to go. Good luck! |
