I would have your vet show you how to express the anal glands because if you don't do it the correct way you might hurt the glands and your puppy might even need surgery after they get hurt. Please check with your vet or groomer. If you take your puppy to get groomed they should be doing this for you. Only do it every 4 to 6 weeks.
