Barbara: My oldest boy had a tiny bump on top of his head when he was 6 months old. The vet said it could be a pimple or a cyst. She offered to scrape it while he was under anesthesia to be neutered. I dabbed a little olive oil on it and it disappeared in 2 days, before surgery.
I'm not quite sure what to do for a blackhead other than a warm compress. In addition to talking to your groomer, perhaps give your vet's office a call for some ideas. They should be willing to do that over the phone.
Glad to know it's not a tick. I had one come out of my hair in the shower the other day after I worked in the garden. Yuck! |
