i have a 10 week old yorkie/long hair chahuahua. his coat is quite bushy except for on his head ( he has a chahuahua head and ears). i'm allergic to long haired cats and seems i'm allergic to him too. about 2 months ago i shaved our long hair cat and my allergies stopped bothering me. since we've got bailey 2 weeks ago and he is always around me my allergies have kicked back up. my question is should i shave him too or wait a bit longer and continue to take my allergy pills everyday. he is a mumma's boy and always around me. i have also noticed he has his cotton coat underneith still. i have added pictures so you can see his coat.
ps- do you think his coat color will change as he gets older?
