Mix together and add a little water if it's too thick for the syringe. This was posted by Lunas Mom and I used it when we first got Hot Rod. He was 15 weeks at 1.57 lbs. and a very picky eater. You may want to try this and just because of the amount you give your little one as it is very filling. Best of luck.
It sounds as though you've done a lot of research and are doing your best for your little one. 1 lb is tiny, I thought I was going to break Hot Rod when we first got him, I can can't imagine 1 lb.
