So this morning when I took her out to potty (she always pees and poops in the morning, as she is crated all night due to training) she went pee just fine but she struggled with having a bowel movement. She tried for about ten minutes and I could see a little bit sticking out of her (of which I removed with a wet wipe to try and help her out) but she just couldn't go. She still hasn't gone and it's been hours... what can I do to help her? Is there something in particular I can give her to eat or drink to help her go? She never eats people food, and I haven't changed her puppy food, so I don't know what could be causing this? Does this have anything to do with her anal glands? Do they need to be expressed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
