You are so lucky that you get to pick her up 1:00! Looking forward to hearing that Mee-kah is home with you.
I know what you mean about feeling like you are handing over your child. My vet's office jokingly offered to sedate me because I was crying so hard.
Don't be surprised if your baby comes back greasy and slimy. I don't know what is used during surgery, but the pups seem to come back really dirty. Then you have to fight the urge to give them a bath.
