That's exactly what I was thinking Pat. I think it's not unusual to have a wild child (dog) act totally different when away from their parents. With the parents, they know they can get away with it, but they are not certain about others. By the time they figure out the groomer isn't going to hurt them, they are used to being groomed and not bothered by it.
