Have you asked her if she does this?
My dog was hyper and as a young puppy and would hardly stand still for me to do a top knot. which we do everyday.
The first few times she was a wiggle bum but they learn VERY fast how to be have at the groomer. They learn whats expected of them and just like kids behave better in some ways for a groomer then they do for us.
My little girl now has the routine down.
If your groomer is giving your dog anything orally I'd be changing groomers. IF theres not a law against that there sure should be. That just sounds unethical to me. I wouldn't tolerate it for my dogs. I certainly wouldn't pay someone to drug my dog. Just my two cents
