How old is your pup? I have never taken Uni to the groomers bc I know she would not behave for them. So I just learned to groom her myself. You have to start training your pup before your first grooming visit, so he knows what is to be expected of him. Like touch his paws without trying to cut his nails, flip him on his back, look in his ears, etc all while praising him and keep a calm voice. If you are nervous he will feed of your nervousness.
I wouldn't suggest using a relaxer btw, unless you talk to your vet first.
