I'm actually fortunate that Jackson is a bigger Yorkie because most folks don't just wanna reach down and pick him up, lol. He wouldn't allow it anyways, he barely even likes me to pick him up unless he's tired. But I really don't like when people just approach him (who don't know him) to pet him because it startles him. He's shy with strangers but I've been trying to socialize him so it's nice when someone asks "can I pet your dog?" and I can give Jackson a little warning, or hand the person/kid a treat and ask them to give Jackson the treat. If anyone were to ever pick him up without asking, yes, I'd be a little angry. |
