 Picky eating yorkies
My yorkie Esther is a picky eater. I too have tried several types of dry and wet food. Not much success with either. I've tried adding crushed up chicken sticks and other natural treats to temp her to eat - nothing. I have resulted in the home cooked chicken and occasional left over steak. So far she'll eat those. Our vet says the looks and acts like a very healthy dog, so he said if she eats what I cook and I don't mind the expense and time, then it's ok with him.
It's kinda funny, each of my daughters have a yorkie that is a sister to Esther. Neither one of them have this problem. The girls say it's me. Maybe it is, but I can't stand seeing her not eat. |
