My living room furniture is butted up to each other in an L shape. So all I need is one set of stairs, and they run up/down and across the furniture. I have another set of stairs at the foot of my bed.
The boys will jump up/down on the furniture occasionally, but never the bed. If Bella's on the couch and I take the stairs away, I've effectively isolated her: she will NOT jump down. The boys are sturdier; Bella's fine boned, so it's good.
I guess I subconsciously arranged my furniture in a pattern that suits them as well as me. |
