Thanks! We love our babies too. Getting Stormie was one of the first things we did when we finally built and moved into our house 5 years ago.

As far as exercise, our's get probably way more than they "require".... the last few months they have been going nuts chasing the little swallows that are trying to build nests on our porch. That keeps them pretty busy! But besides that, we live out in the country and have lots of land and cattle. Stormie (mom) is trained to help with the cattle and we are working on Blaze. We don't do things with the cattle daily so they aren't "professionals" but we dabble in the herding stuff. The people who bought all the puppies are real big in the competition world and work their Aussies daily on their ranches.
I would say they are very similar to Border Collies - we see BC's in the competitions with the Aussies. Stormie is a blue merle but she's smaller - about 35 pounds. Blaze (50 lbs now at 9 months) takes after his daddy with his bigger size and floppy ears.
Attaching some more pics.

#2 - Stormie's litter back in August (1 red w/copper & white trim, 1 red w/white trim, 1 blue merle, 1 black w/white trim and 1 red merle) You can't see it on this pic but the b/w one was the only one with a tail because he was going home to Germany. The owner ended up wanting the red merle too though - even though she was docked.
