yes - from my experience with only 2 yorkies - puppy hair and adult hair are totally different - the changeover is the worst - just make sure you keep brushing every day and hopefully you won't face all the tangles most of us do
and a bit of advise - never let them 'stay' in clothes for lenghts of time - it'll be a nightmare trying to get out the tangles - I made that mistake one winter with Cheri and never again
