5/12/10 - Roriee went into the doctor today for a blood workup to check to see what the chemo is doing and she had her cast removed. They were going to put the cast back on, but after taking it off she didn't not cry or scream, which indicated she was not in any pain, so she did not need the cast any longer. She has been up moving around more and hasn't been as cranky. She is still quite unsteady and 'knuckles,' meaning she flips her front paw under and cannot get it back to the right way. She sometimes just lays down when that happens otherwise she falls over. She is eating and drinking well and it better than when we first picked her up. With that said, Roriee is still a very sick little girl with so many medical issues against her. We pray for good days, but know that bad days are a huge possibility given all that she has wrong. Her poor little brain has been tortured by her medical issues. Our biggest prayer for Roriee is for her to be pain free and have peace, so please keep the prayers coming her way! oh my. I have tears in my eyes looking at her and knowing what she's endured......need to finish reading but my prayers are with her and all involved in her care.
