I have to agree with the posters who state that a dog knows it owner. Sophie Kate barks are the bathroom door if I DARE go in there without her.

I need to read the rest of the thread but my goodness it sounds like you are doing a good thing with adopting this little dog and now this woman is just plain annoying you.
