I would wait until he is around 9 months old. It will give him the chance to grow some more plus if he still has baby teeth they can take those out at the same time as well.
Please make sure though that you have pre-surgical blood work done before surgery. Also make sure they are using a gas anesthetic such as isoflurane or sevoflurane and have an iv kept in and they are monitoring him the whole time. You can never be too careful with these little ones. |
