My Snickers has a small, sebaceous cyst on his back. I had the vet look at it last month, and he said to keep an eye on it. Since it's very small, we will leave it alone for now. If it changes or gets larger, we will probably have to have it removed. These cysts are caused by a blocked oil gland and are not serious.
