Not much help here, I'd get both done and a Culture and Sensitivity on the urine, and then schedule him for a Bile Acid Test, as many dogs that tend to be small, thin, picky eaters, UTI could have Liver Shunt/MVD. All Yorkies and mixes should be BAT tested, as liver issues run in the breed, and the symptoms you described fit the profile. Best to find out early, anyway. |
