My Bitsy will be 16 weeks old on Thursday... she has the "cottony coat"... she seems to have little mats near her body... yesterday I bathed her, used conditioner... and used a comb on her for awhile... (didn't help much). I was thinking the same thing about having her groomed sometime soon. My Jasmine(she's 13 months) and Butch (he's 22 weeks) have the "silky coat" and is just a joy.... no knots.... I need to bathe them more because they get a little greasy looking after a week or so.... Bitsy and Butch have never been outside.... Jasmine goes out sometimes when she is needing a bath... they are all tiny.....
Anyway.... take a picture after the groomers... I'd like to see what your pup looks like afterwards.
