Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes about 6 weeks ago, and struggling with the doctor's office. He's not very up to date on the latest diabetes info, and I've had it. I'm not a science experiment, dangit, I'm a human being!!!
It's so frustrating to feel so icky all the time, and also to be treated like a dummy.
I wish I knew more people locally, especially someone that's diabetic. So, thought I'd ask here to see if any of you had any ideas on how I could go about finding the right doctor for me, without spending big bucks on all those first time office visits, where they charge you way more to "set up your chart"
I'm paying cash, no insurance, so I really can't mess around with all that.
